London Marathon 22nd April 2018
This year we have two nurses from the STANLEY EYE UNIT, ABERGELE HOSPITAL taking up the challenge of the LONDON MARATHON for eyesight. This event is a great experience for the runners and one which lingers in the memory for a long time; it also presents us with an opportunity to raise both funds and the profile of EYESIGHT.
As a small charity local charity we are of course looking for sponsorship on both an individual level and a more corporate or business basis. Businesses who would like to sponsor us would have their logo displayed on the web site as a supporter and perhaps on the running vests which will be worn by our running nurses.
Good luck to our runners, Pat and Heulwen and if you watch the marathon on the television look out for them on the day and if you are lucky enough to be in London on the day and you spot them give a cheer and if you don’t give a cheer anyway.
