Eyesight attended event at the Jubilee community centre, Seabank road, Prestatyn. on Sat. 13th October to promote Eyesight and help out the public with any queries they had and that we where competent to deal with. Some questions asked demonstrated clearly how the whole area of ophthalmics.
is a mystery to a large number of the general public. We have been asked if the people who “do cataracts” are Doctors, it is made clear that not only are they Doctors but highly skilled surgeons working in a very intricate area of medicine.Another common question relates in some way to how do they get the eye back in after it has been operated on ,its little wonder that people are afraid of eye procedures. It was however very gratifying they way that people responded to Eyesight and also the Laser fund when it was explained to them what we are about.
